The AirTAC ASP series is a single-acting, spring-return push compact cylinder. Air extends the rod and a return spring retracts it, making it a simple, energy-saving choice for one-directional work. It has a short hard-anodized aluminum body, an S45C hard-chrome rod, and a two-way seal with a fixed bumper for deceleration. The series covers 10 bores from 12 to 100 mm with short strokes (up to 10 mm for bore 12, up to 25 mm for bores 16-100).
At 0.5 MPa, the net push force spans about 40 N (bore 12) to 3641 N (bore 100), with speeds of 50-500 mm/s. Minimum pressure is 0.2 MPa. The ASP is DIN-standard compact cylinder, not a tie-rod or ISO 15552 unit. It is discontinued; the direct replacement is the ISO 21287 ASE series (e.g., ASP32X25 becomes ASE32X25). A magnet option (-S) is available for sensor mounting.
