About the Airtac ASP Single Acting Guided Compact Cylinder ASP25X25
A single acting push cylinder with spring return, the ASP25X25 extends its 10 mm rod with air and retracts it by spring, giving 210.1 N of push at 0.5 MPa and 308.3 N at 0.7 MPa, both already net of the spring. It needs only one air line and starts working from 0.2 MPa (28 psi), so a simple solenoid valve is enough to drive it. This model is discontinued; the current-production replacement is the ASE25X25, which swaps the P for an E in the same bore, stroke and force class.
The short ISO 21287-class body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs and guarding where a full-length body will not fit. FA/FB flange, LB foot and CA/CB clevis brackets bolt straight to the mounting face. At 0.5 MPa the 210.1 N push gives a vertical-lift equivalent of about 21 kg, so plan on lifting roughly 10 kg with a 2:1 margin. A fixed TPU bumper sits at both ends, and the optional -S magnet code enables CMSE / DMSE switches; without -S there is no magnet.
