The AirTAC Airtac 3V2M-F Base 3V2M7FD is a genuine 3V2M manifold base for 7 stations on one shared air supply. A base is a machined block: it carries no coil and no solenoid, so the valves that sit on it are ordered separately.
Order the 3V2M7FD when seven 3V2M valves must each vent on their own line. The D in the code stands for independent exhaust: instead of one shared outlet, this seven-station block gives every station its own exhaust port, so a slow or leaking valve shows up on its own silencer rather than hiding in a common one.
Like every 3V2M base, this is a machined manifold block without coil, voltage or initial state - the solenoid valves are ordered separately and can be mixed freely on the same block. One air feed and one wiring run serve all seven positions. Thread is PT as standard; G and NPT are catalogue options to order.

| 7F | 7 stations in one assembly, independent exhaust. |
| PT | Port thread. PT ships from stock; G and NPT are available to order. |
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
Seven divert gates along a sorter each vent through their own port, so a slow-releasing gate is spotted on its individual exhaust line.
A pilot plant switches seven pneumatic shut-off valves from one block, with independent exhausts keeping vented air from crossing between sample loops.
A coiling machine fires six cutters and a counter-blower in sequence; separate exhausts stop one station's vent puff from disturbing the next.
Start with the exhaust question: pick this D version only if each of the seven stations needs its own vent or silencer; otherwise the centralised 3V2M7F is simpler to pipe. Then count positions - one per 3/2 function plus, if you like, a spare, since stations expand freely. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT as order options. The valves themselves are bought separately: fix NC or NO (no field conversion possible), coil voltage and DIN plug or flying lead entry per valve.
Mounted flow is Cv 0.1 through the base - an individual 3V2 reaches Cv 0.18 at 1/8 in or Cv 0.19 at 1/4 in and is vacuum-rated, 3V3 gives Cv 0.62 for the biggest duties in the range, and 3V1 at 3.0 W DC covers small low-power tasks. Double-acting cylinders belong on the 4V series.

Valves on the base: Cv 0.1 flow coefficient, 0-0.8 MPa pressure range, -20 to 70 C media temperature, AC coils 7 VA and DC coils 7.0 W, IP65 protection (DIN 40050). Filter the air supply to 40 um or finer. The block itself carries none of these ratings - it is an unpowered manifold.
With D exhaust, each of the seven stations vents through its own port, so silencers, vent routing and fault tracing are per valve - useful when a vented puff must not disturb a neighbouring station. All stations still share one supply and one wiring run. Valves are ordered separately, and NC or NO must be fixed at order time; it cannot be converted afterwards.
