The AirTAC Airtac 3V2M Solenoid Valve 3V2MNCAI-14F is a genuine 3-port 2-position (3/2) solenoid valve with 1/8 in ports. It either feeds its outlet or vents it to exhaust, which is what makes it the valve for single-acting cylinders, on/off air blow, clamping, vacuum switching and pilot duty.
The 3V2MNCAI-14F is a fourteen-position NC valve group built on the 3V2M manifold system: every body is a direct-acting, spring-return 3/2 unit with a coaxial popet, and every AC220V coil arrives pre-wired on a flying lead. One supply port serves all fourteen stations, replacing fourteen valves, fourteen fittings and fourteen separate cable drops.
Exhaust here is centralised: all fourteen stations vent through one shared port, so a single silencer and, where needed, one ducted line carry exhaust air away from the panel. The shared supply and shared wiring also speed fault-finding - trace one circuit instead of fourteen, and use each body's manual override to isolate a suspect station. Total energised load is 14 x 7 VA = 98 VA at AC220V. AirtacDistr supplies genuine AirTAC product only.

Figures follow the official AirTAC 3V2M catalogue. Confirm coil voltage and thread (PT / NPT / G) against the product label before wiring.
| 3V2M | Body — sets the flow, the coil power and whether vacuum is rated. |
|---|---|
| 1/8 in | Port size. M5, 06 = 1/8 in, 08 = 1/4 in, 10 = 3/8 in. |
| NC | Normally closed: no air at the outlet until the coil is energised. |
| AC220V | Coil voltage. A = AC220V, B = DC24V, C = AC110V, E = AC24V, F = DC12V. |
| I | Electrical entry: I = flying lead, otherwise a DIN plug. |
| 14F | 14 stations in one assembly, centralised exhaust. |
| PT | Port thread. PT ships from stock; G and NPT are available to order. |
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
Bench jigs and drilling fixtures clamp via single-acting cylinders that retract automatically whenever the NC coil drops out.
Layer-forming pushers on a palletiser cycle from one supply, with a single exhaust silencer serving the entire fourteen-station bank.
Part ejection on a rotary assembly table, each of the fourteen positions switched independently from its own coil and lead.
Order against five checkpoints: NC initial state, AC220V voltage code A, flying-lead entry, fourteen stations, centralised exhaust; thread is PT as standard with G and NPT orderable. The NC state is locked at manufacture - flipping the dedicated base gasket does not turn NC into NO, so any position needing air at rest must be ordered as NO.
For sizing, 3V2M trades flow for manifold density at Cv 0.1 per station; step a demanding position out to an individual 3V2 (Cv 0.18 at 1/8 in, 0.19 at 1/4 in, vacuum-rated) or to 3V3 (Cv 0.62, 1/4 in, vacuum-rated), and use 3V1 at 3.0 W DC for low-power light duty. Double-acting cylinders are outside 3/2 duty - the AirTAC 4V series is the right choice there.

Fourteen 3/2 NC stations, each direct-acting with single solenoid and spring return, Cv 0.1, PT1/8 port, 0-0.8 MPa, -20 to 70 C, AC220V coil at 7 VA, IP65 (DIN 40050), flying-lead entry, centralised exhaust, manual override fitted, medium air filtered to 40 um or finer.
Centralised exhaust vents all fourteen stations through one port - one silencer, tidier panels and easier ducting, but all stations share it. If the process needs each vent kept separate to avoid back-pressure on a shared line, order the independent-exhaust version 3V2MNCAI-14FD instead.
