About the Airtac 3V2M Solenoid Valve 3V2MNCB-9F
The 3V2MNCB-9F is a complete nine-station valve bank: nine 3/2 normally closed DC24V bodies with DIN plug sockets, mounted on a shared manifold base. Each position is a direct-acting, single-solenoid, spring-return poppet valve with coaxial shut-off, feeding its outlet while energised and venting it through the common exhaust when de-energised. Port size is PT1/8 and each station holds Cv 0.1.
Because supply and wiring are shared across the base, one 24 V feed and one air line serve all nine circuits, which shortens fault-finding to a single row of stations. The DC coil draws 7.0 W, so a bank with all nine energised totals about 63 W - roughly 2.6 A at 24 V, size your power supply for that worst case. Note the initial state: the dedicated base gasket cannot be flipped to convert NC to NO, so the state you order is the state you get.

What a 3/2 Valve Does
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
