About the Airtac 3V2M Solenoid Valve 3V2MNCC-12F
Twelve normally closed 3/2 poppet valves come pre-matched to a single base in the 3V2MNCC-12F. Each direct-acting, spring-return station opens its PT1/8 outlet only while the AC110V coil is on, and seals and vents the outlet whenever the coil is off.
Size the electrical side for the worst case: at 7 VA per AC coil, twelve stations energised together present 84 VA on the shared circuit - build in headroom above that. The common supply and common wiring also mean one faulty station is easy to spot against eleven healthy ones. Remember the state is ordered, not converted: the dedicated base gasket cannot be reversed to turn NC into NO.

What a 3/2 Valve Does
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.

Textile machine jet control

Pick 3V2M when density beats flow: Cv 0.1 per station through the base is fine for clamping, blow and pilot duty, but a station needing more should carry a single-body 3V2 (Cv 0.18 at 1/8 in, 0.19 at 1/4 in) or a 3V3 (Cv 0.62, 1/4 in, vacuum-rated). 3V1 is the low-power alternative at 3.0 W DC. A double-acting cylinder needs the 5-port AirTAC 4V, not this 3/2 valve.
