About the Airtac 3V2M Solenoid Valve 3V2MNCC-8F
3V2MNCC-8F is a complete AirTAC 3V2M assembly: eight normally closed valve bodies on one dedicated 8-station base with centralised exhaust. Each valve is a direct-acting 3/2 poppet unit with spring return, an AC110V coil and DIN plug entry, so a de-energised station holds its outlet vented until the solenoid is switched. Because the coils share one wiring run across the manifold, a stuck station can be isolated quickly without tracing eight separate harnesses.
Power planning is simple arithmetic: every AC coil draws 7 VA, so eight stations energised together present roughly 56 VA to your control transformer. Flow through the base is Cv 0.1 per valve, which suits pilot and small single-acting loads rather than high-volume blow. Protection is IP65 (DIN 40050) and each valve carries a manual override for commissioning. What a 3/2 Valve Does
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
