About the Airtac 3V2M Solenoid Valve 3V2MNCE-7F
All seven stations of the 3V2MNCE-7F vent through a single centralised exhaust port on the base - one muffler, one possible exhaust duct away from the operator, instead of seven scattered vents. Seven normally closed 3/2 valve bodies share one PT1/8 supply and one wiring run on the 7F base, each coil a 7 VA AC24V DIN-plug unit (49 VA if all energised).
The valves are direct-acting, spring return, coaxial poppet shut-off, Cv 0.1, IP65 (DIN 40050). NC logic means every outlet is vented until its coil pulls in, and the manual override on each body lets you jog individual stations during commissioning. If a station must exhaust separately - say a noisy or oily vent - order the D independent-exhaust version instead.

What a 3/2 Valve Does
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.

Step a demanding station out to a single 3V2 (Cv 0.18 at 1/8, 0.19 at 1/4, vacuum-rated) or a 3V3 (Cv 0.62, 1/4, vacuum-rated), and use 3V1 (3.0 W DC) for low-heat duty.
