About the Airtac 3V2M Solenoid Valve 3V2MNCEI-2F
3V2MNCEI-2F puts two 3/2 normally closed valves with AC24V coils on a single dedicated base, each coil ending in a pre-wired flying lead. Normally closed means both outlets stay vented until their coil is energised, and each spring returns its poppet on power loss. The NC state is set at the factory and cannot be reversed by flipping the base gasket or by any other field trick.
Two stations on one block still get the manifold benefits: one air feed, one wiring entry, PT1/8 supply and outlet ports, and a shared centralised exhaust. Each valve seals by a coaxial poppet, is rated Cv 0.1, and the coil assembly carries IP65 protection.

What a 3/2 Valve Does
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
