About the Airtac 3V2M Solenoid Valve 3V2MNCF-15F
The 3V2MNCF-15F is a factory-built 15-station assembly: fifteen 3V2M normally closed valve bodies mounted on one dedicated base, all fed from a shared air supply and shared wiring points. Each body is a 3/2 direct-acting unit with a single DC12V solenoid and spring return, sealed by a coaxial shut-off poppet for tight closing. Until a coil is energised, that station's outlet stays closed, so a de-energised actuator sees no air.
The base turns fifteen separate valves into one panel-friendly unit: air enters through a single inlet, wiring lands once instead of fifteen times, and faults can be traced station by station on the common manifold. Each DC coil draws 7.0 W and the bodies carry an IP65 (DIN 40050) rating. Note that the NC initial state is fixed at order stage - the dedicated base gasket cannot be flipped to convert NC to NO.

What a 3/2 Valve Does
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.

Choose the 3V2M manifold family when station density matters more than per-station flow: Cv 0.1 per valve, because the flow path runs through the base. If one circuit point needs more, use an individual 3V2 body instead (Cv 0.18 at 1/8 in, 0.19 at 1/4 in, and vacuum-rated), or step to 3V3 (Cv 0.62, 1/4 in, vacuum-rated) for the highest flow in the 3V range; 3V1 is the low-power pick at 3.0 W DC. A double-acting cylinder cannot be driven by any 3-port valve - route that need to the AirTAC 4V series.
