About the Airtac 3V2M Solenoid Valve 3V2MNOA-17F
The 3V2MNOA-17F is a complete 17-station manifold assembly built from seventeen 3/2 normally open solenoid valves on a dedicated AirTAC base. Being normally open, every outlet passes air while de-energised and vents the moment its 7 VA AC220V coil is switched on - the fail-flow direction that many blow-off and gating circuits require.
Each valve is direct-acting with spring return and a coaxial shut-off poppet for tight sealing. The shared base feeds all seventeen stations from one air supply and one wiring harness, and every body carries a manual override for setup and commissioning. Flow is Cv 0.1 per station through PT1/8 ports.

What a 3/2 Valve Does
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.

PCB dust blow-off array
Seventeen air nozzles clear loose solder dust from printed circuit boards before inspection; the normally open function keeps the nozzles blowing even if a PLC output fails, so boards never reach the camera dirty.
Glass line cooling knives
On a float glass line the air knives must not stop when a controller trips; NO valves leave cooling air flowing through the failure, protecting the ribbon while the fault is traced.
Fail-extended ejection pins
Seventeen single-acting ejector pins on a stamping die stay extended while de-energised; energising each coil vents its cylinder so the pin retracts only when the press control commands it.

Order the state you need, because a 3V2M is normally open only as ordered - the dedicated base gasket cannot be flipped to turn NO into NC after purchase. For this assembly check five points: NO state, AC220V coil, DIN plug entry, 17 stations and centralised exhaust, with PT as the standard thread (G or NPT available as order options).
At Cv 0.1 per station, 3V2M buys density rather than flow. If a single station needs more, spec an individual 3V2 (Cv 0.18 at 1/8 in, 0.19 at 1/4 in, and vacuum-rated) or a 3V3 (Cv 0.62, 1/4 in, vacuum-rated); where duty is light, 3V1 saves power at 3.0 W DC. A double-acting cylinder is outside any 3-port valve - that job belongs to the 4V series.
