About the Airtac 3V2M Solenoid Valve 3V2MNOA-1F
The 3V2MNOA-1F is the one-station version of the 3V2M platform: one normally open 3/2 valve, one 7 VA AC220V coil, one base section with centralised exhaust. It behaves as a single 3/2 valve today and as the first station of a larger manifold tomorrow, because 3V2M stations combine and expand freely and can be mixed by number and type.
The valve is direct-acting with spring return and a coaxial shut-off poppet. De-energised it supplies the outlet; energised it vents. Air enters through one shared supply port at PT1/8, and a manual override on the body speeds commissioning. Flow is Cv 0.1, pressure 0-0.8 MPa, temperature -20 to 70 C, coil protection IP65.

What a 3/2 Valve Does
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.
