About the Airtac 3V2M Solenoid Valve 3V2MNOA-3F
A 3V2MNOA-3F puts three normally open 3/2 solenoid valves on one base, so a three-function machine section gets a single air inlet, a single wiring loom and one centralised exhaust instead of three separate threaded valves. With NO coils, each station feeds its outlet until its 7 VA AC220V coil is energised, then the spring vents it - useful where a power failure should leave the supply path open.
Every valve is direct-acting with coaxial poppet sealing and works across 0 to 0.8 MPa, and the manual override on each body makes staged start-up straightforward. Shared wiring also concentrates fault-finding: a dead station is traced at the base, not around the machine.

What a 3/2 Valve Does
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.

Three stations on one base is where shared wiring starts to pay off, but flow still matters: 3V2M is Cv 0.1 per station, against Cv 0.18 (1/8 in) and 0.19 (1/4 in) for a stand-alone 3V2 and Cv 0.62 for 3V3, both of which add vacuum capability 3V2M lacks. If the duty is light and the power budget tight, 3V1 draws just 3.0 W on DC. A 3/2 valve cannot drive a double-acting cylinder - that call goes to the AirTAC 4V series.
