About the Airtac 3V2M Solenoid Valve 3V2MNOAI-15F
The 3V2MNOAI-15F answers a simple question: where should the air be when power fails? Normally open stations stay pressurised at the outlet until their AC220V coil is energised to vent them - the opposite logic to NC - and 15 of these valves share one base, one supply and one wiring run.
Internally each valve is a direct-acting coaxial poppet with spring return, mounted on the 3V2M base so stations can combine, expand or mix types freely. Fifteen coils at 7 VA give about 105 VA worst case on the transformer. The flow coefficient per station is Cv 0.1, and protection is IP65 (DIN 40050).

What a 3/2 Valve Does
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.

Before ordering, fix the five-point spec: normally open state, AC220V voltage, flying-lead entry, 15 stations, centralised exhaust, PT1/8 threads (G and NPT are catalogue options to order). Remember that NO and NC are set in manufacture - the dedicated base gasket cannot be flipped to change it, and the valve cannot be reconfigured afterwards.
For higher flow at a single station use a standalone 3V2 instead: Cv 0.18 at 1/8 in or Cv 0.19 at 1/4 in, both vacuum rated; the 3V3 reaches Cv 0.62 at 1/4 in. If the duty is minor, the 3V1 runs on 3.0 W DC. Double-acting cylinder control belongs to the AirTAC 4V family, not to any 3/2 valve.
