About the Airtac 3V2M Solenoid Valve 3V2MNOB-1F
The 3V2MNOB-1F gives you one 3/2 normally open valve already mounted on its own single-station 3V2M base. It is a compact way to start a manifold system: direct-acting, spring return, with a coaxial poppet that switches between feeding the outlet and venting it. While de-energised the valve passes air; energising the coil vents the outlet.
The single station draws 7.0 W from a DC24V supply through a DIN plug connection, and the coil is rated IP65. Ports are PT1/8 and the valve handles 0-0.8 MPa between -20 and 70 C. Because the base is part of a modular family, you can add extra stations later and keep one common air feed, one exhaust path and one wiring scheme.

What a 3/2 Valve Does
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.

Blow-off nozzle on a case packer
A cleaning jet that blows dust off cartons before sealing. In NO form the jet blows whenever air is on and stops only when the coil is energised - handy when the blast must be the default.
Fail-clamped machining fixture
One clamp on a milling fixture that must stay applied if the 24 V supply drops. A NO valve keeps feeding the single-acting clamp until the control deliberately vents it.
Pilot line for a large process valve
A small pilot signal that holds a big diaphragm valve open between batches. Energise the 3V2MNOB-1F to dump the pilot and let the process valve close.

Choose this 1-station assembly when you want one NO valve now with room to grow into a shared-supply manifold later. It flows Cv 0.1; for a point needing more, use a standalone 3V2 (Cv 0.18 at 1/8 inch) or 3V3 (Cv 0.62 at 1/4 inch, both vacuum-rated), and for a low-power point the 3V1 needs just 3.0 W on DC. Double-acting cylinders require the AirTAC 4V series, not any 3V valve.
