About the Airtac 3V2M Solenoid Valve 3V2MNOE
The 3V2MNOE is a single 3/2 valve body in the normally open version: supply air passes straight through to the outlet at rest, and energising the AC24V coil shuts the path and vents downstream. The spring-return, direct-acting coaxial poppet switches without pilot air, so it operates across the full 0-0.8 MPa range.
It mounts on a 3V2M base so several valves can share one air feed and one wiring run, with Cv 0.1 per station and IP65 protection on the DIN socket connection. The AC24V coil draws 7 VA. Note that the NO state is ordered, not converted - the dedicated base gasket cannot be flipped to change NC into NO.

What a 3/2 Valve Does
A 3/2 valve has three ports — supply, outlet and exhaust — and two states. It either feeds the outlet or vents it to exhaust, and that is the whole job.
That makes it the right valve for a single-acting (spring-return) cylinder, on/off air blow, a clamp, switching a vacuum generator or suction cup, and piloting a larger valve.
It cannot run a double-acting cylinder. A double-acting cylinder needs air alternately on two sides, which takes a 5-port valve — the AirTAC 4V series.

Is the Airtac 3V2M Solenoid Valve 3V2MNOE the Right Part?
Choose this body when a circuit must default to passing air - purge lines, vent paths, fail-open pilot duty - and your control voltage is AC24V. If the point is only lightly loaded, 3V1 saves power at 3.0 W DC; for higher flow per port use a standalone 3V2 (Cv 0.18 at 1/8, Cv 0.19 at 1/4) or 3V3 (Cv 0.62, 1/4), both vacuum-rated where this 3V2M body is not. NC and NO cannot be swapped after purchase, so order NO deliberately.
Match all five selection points: initial state, coil voltage (AC24V here), electrical entry (DIN plug), station count if building a manifold, exhaust choice, plus thread - PT standard, G or NPT to order. A double-acting cylinder requires the AirTAC 4V series.
