About the Airtac ACPJ Adjustable Compact Cylinder ACPJ16X75-10B
The ACPJ16X75-10B is a discontinued double acting adjustable-stroke compact cylinder: a 16 mm bore pushes 100.5 N at 0.5 MPa (140.7 N at 0.7 MPa) through an 8 mm hard-chrome S45C rod with a male thread (B code). Its ISO 21287 short body saves about 50% of the mounting length of an ISO 15552 profile cylinder, so it slots into tight jigs, guarding and gantries. The -10 code gives a 10 mm adjustment window: an external stop screw trims the extend stroke on site, so the usable range is 65-75 mm.
Plan on roughly 60 N of real work at 0.5 MPa (about 0.6 of the rated push), which lifts about 5 kg vertically with a 2:1 margin - enough for small clamps, gates and ejector tools. The fixed TPU bumper at each end only decelerates the piston; it never locks a load, so on air loss the rod drifts. Air supply is 0.15-1.0 MPa (22-145 psi), speed 30-500 mm/s, and the magnet is the optional -S code (not fitted here, so no CMSE / DMSE switch can be mounted).
