The CMSH-030 is a reed-type magnetic position switch from AirTAC. Inside sits a sealed mechanical reed contact, not solid-state electronics, so it closes on either AC or DC anywhere from 5-240 V and needs no polarity. It seats in the sensor groove of an AirTAC cylinder fitted with the piston magnet option and signals position through its 2-wire circuit. This version carries a 3 m flying lead; the general-type body is sealed to IP64.
