About the Airtac CMSH Reed Sensor CMSH-100
The CMSH-100 is an AirTAC CMS-series magnetic reed switch. It reads the piston magnet of an AirTAC cylinder ordered with the built-in magnet option and closes its 2-wire contact when the piston reaches the mounting point. The 100 wiring code gives a 10 m flying lead, so the cable can run the whole distance back to a distant control panel without joints or extensions. Supply range is 5-240 V AC/DC and the standard housing carries IP64 protection.
As a reed type, this switch has a genuine mechanical contact: no polarity to observe, happy on AC or DC, and it wires in series just like a conventional limit switch. The H in the model is a profile fit code that must match your cylinder's sensor groove - check the seating against your cylinder before you order.
