AirTAC's DMSG-N050 is an electronic (solid-state) magnetic position switch with a 3-wire NPN output, reading the piston magnet of an AirTAC cylinder that carries the magnet option. The 5 m flying lead reaches control cabinets mounted some distance from the machine, the supply range is 5-30 V DC, and the general housing is protected to IP64.
The long lead is a specification choice, not a delivery matter: 5 m of cuttable cable can span a large frame without a junction box in the middle.
