About the Airtac DMSG Electronic Sensor DMSG-NC12
An electronic solid-state position switch, the DMSG-NC12 detects the magnet in the piston of a suitably equipped AirTAC cylinder. It delivers NPN 3-wire output - the sinking configuration PLC input cards expect - from a 5-30 V DC supply, with IP64 general protection. The C12 in the wiring position is a factory connection code not defined in our published data; its exact termination will be confirmed from the datasheet on request.
Solid-state switching means the output has no mechanical contact to wear or bounce, so repeated fast strokes do not erode the sensing element the way a reed contact can eventually fatigue. The G profile letter only fixes the body shape that seats in the cylinder groove - match it to your cylinder before ordering.
