The DMSG-P050 is a solid-state electronic position switch with a PNP 3-wire output. It clips into the sensor groove of an AirTAC cylinder fitted with the magnet option and signals when the piston reaches it. Supply is 5-30 V DC, protection is IP64, and the 5 m flying lead runs straight back to the control panel.
On a 3-wire PNP switch the supply and signal paths are separate, so a sinking PLC input receives a clean sourced pulse instead of the small standing leakage a 2-wire loop always leaves in circuit. Choose this model when your control system uses sinking inputs and you want the sharpest possible signal edge. Three wires keep power and switching apart, which suits counters, cam timing and any cycle where contact bounce would matter. If the panel sits further away, the DMSG-P100 with its 10 m lead, or an M8/M12 connector version, may serve better. The general IP64 body covers normal factory air; pick an -RW unit for washdown zones. A magnet-equipped cylinder (-S option) is required - the switch alone senses nothing - and the G profile must match the cylinder groove.
