About the Airtac DMSHS Electronic Sensor DMSHS-N020
The DMSHS-N020 is an AirTAC DMS electronic position switch with an NPN 3-wire transistor output. It detects the piston magnet of a magnet-equipped AirTAC cylinder and sinks the PLC input when the piston arrives. Supply is 5-30 V DC, housing protection is IP64, and the 020 code is a 2 m flying lead.
Three-wire NPN wiring delivers a cleaner, lower-impedance signal to a sinking PLC input than a 2-wire loop, which is why it is preferred on dense I/O panels. The H profile is a fit code for the cylinder's sensor groove - confirm it matches, and note the extra S in the type number is an undocumented code we will check from the datasheet on request.
