About the Airtac EMSG G-Type Electronic Sensor EMSG-020
The EMSG-020 is the compact member of AirTAC's sensor range: a mini electronic (solid-state) switch, 2-wire output only, made to seat in tighter sensor grooves than a full-size DMS. Wiring 020 is a 2 m flying lead, the supply window is 10-28 V DC, and the housing is rated IP64. The G profile letter fixes which cylinder groove the body clips into.
Because the output is 2-wire, it connects in series with the load just like a mechanical contact, so no NPN/PNP decision is needed at the input - only the 10-28 V DC level and the small leakage of a solid-state switch have to be tolerated by the load. The slim body suits small-bore and compact cylinders, but confirm the G profile against your cylinder series; it is a fit code, not a performance grade.
