About the AirTAC GC300-10 FRL Unit (GC30010MC1W)

GC30010MC1W is a genuine AirTAC G-series three-unit F.R.L. combination: a separate filter, pressure regulator and lubricator supplied together as one 300-size set. The 3/8 inch PT port is the standard threaded connection for this configuration. The filter carries the optional 5 um element, the bowls use the manual drain type, and the regulator is fitted with a round pressure gauge reading in MPa. Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); for this manual-drain version the regulator set range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).

The G series is offered in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes covering 1/8 to 1 inch ports, with options that include 40 um standard or 5 um filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard, and bracket mounting. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm flow and other datasheet figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). The combination has no separate bracket code — the three units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GF300-10 filter, GR300-10 regulator and GL300-10 lubricator.

Size Class & How It Differs From GFC

  • GC200PT1/8" - PT1/4"
  • GC300PT1/4" - PT1/2"
  • GC400PT3/8" - PT1/2"
  • GC600PT3/4" - PT1"

A GC is three separate units, so the filter and the regulator can each be serviced or replaced on their own. A GFC is the two-unit set, where filtering and regulating share one body — shorter, but the two functions come as one part. Both filter, regulate and lubricate.

Where the AirTAC GC300-10 FRL Unit (GC30010MC1W) Is Used

precision_manufacturing

Stamping press clamping circuit

Point-of-use air prep for clamp and punch cylinders on a press cell: the 5 um element protects the valve stack, the regulator holds the set pressure and the lubricator feeds oil mist to the actuators.

factory

Packaging line actuators

An F.R.L. drop feeding the forming, filling and sealing cylinders on a carton line, with manual drain points purged during shift start-up checks.

cable

Wire and cable pay-off stands

Filtered, regulated and lubricated air for the pneumatic brakes and dancer arms on a cable pay-off stand, where 5 um filtration keeps the brake valve clean.

Is the AirTAC GC300-10 FRL Unit (GC30010MC1W) the Right Station?

Match the 300 size and its 3/8 inch PT port to your line size and required flow; the 200, 400 and 600 sizes step the port and flow capacity up or down. This set is configured with manual drains, which suit bowls positioned where an operator can purge them during routine checks, and the manual-drain version widens the regulator set range to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). The 5 um element is the finer of the two grades (40 um is standard) for cleaner air at the point of use, and the round gauge reads in MPa; psi or bar scales are also catalogue choices. PT is the standard thread, with G (BSPP) and NPT available as ordered options, and brackets are part of the standard supply. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so let us confirm sizing against your application before you order.

Quick checklist

  • ✓ Body size for your peak flow (PT3/8" here)
  • ✓ Element 40 µm or 5 µm
  • ✓ Drain sets the regulating band
  • ✓ Gauge fitted, shape and scale
  • ✓ Three-unit (GC) or two-unit (GFC) layout
  • ✓ Oil mist acceptable downstream

Installation & Maintenance Notes

  • check Install with the airflow arrow: filter first, lubricator last.
  • check Mount vertically, bowls down.
  • check Keep inlet pressure at or below 1.0 MPa (145 psi).
  • check Adjust only within 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi).
  • check Drain condensate before the bowl fills; check the oil level.
  • check Keep the station above freezing (-5 to +70 °C, unfreeze).

The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream of the regulator. If any branch of the line must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator, or use a GR300-10 regulator with a GF300-10 filter on that branch.

AirTAC GC300-10 FRL Unit (GC30010MC1W) FAQ

AirTAC publishes flow for the GC300 as characteristic curves, not a single rated number, so we do not quote a rated flow figure. Send us your inlet pressure and flow demand and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet on request.

Manual drain means an operator opens the drain at each bowl, which suits accessible installations and widens the regulator set range to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). The C1 code fits a round external pressure gauge reading in MPa; psi and bar scales are also available.
