The AirTAC AirTAC GC400-10 FRL Unit (GC40010MC1WK) is a genuine G-series three-unit F.R.L. combination: a separate filter, a separate regulator and a separate lubricator assembled as one air-preparation station. It has PT3/8" ports, a 5 µm element, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi).
The AirTAC GC series is a three-piece F.R.L. combination: a separate air filter, a pressure regulator and an oil-mist lubricator piped together to deliver clean, regulated, lubricated compressed air from one supply point. This GC40010MC1WK is built on the 400 size with a 3/8 in PT port, carries the fine 5 um filter element (the W grade) with a manual drain on the filter bowl, and includes a round external pressure gauge reading in MPa. A reverse (check) valve is fitted so downstream pressure is held if the supply side drops. Max working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with this manual-drain set, and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. The filter and lubricator bowls in the 400 size are PC (polycarbonate).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G series is offered in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and with catalogue choices of thread (PT standard, G and NPT to order), drain type, filter grade, gauge style and scale. Flow is published as characteristic curves rather than a single rated figure, so send us your application and we will confirm sizing and full datasheet details on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). The combination has no separate bracket code — the three units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GF400-10 filter, GR400-10 regulator and GL400-10 lubricator.
A GC is three separate units, so the filter and the regulator can each be serviced or replaced on their own. A GFC is the two-unit set, where filtering and regulating share one body — shorter, but the two functions come as one part. Both filter, regulate and lubricate.

Supplies the clean, regulated, lubricated air that pneumatic clamps and tool-changer cylinders on a machining centre depend on; the 5 um element protects fine spool valves from water and particulate.
Prepares atomizing air for spray guns on a finishing line, where the 5 um element helps keep water carryover out of the finish and the lubricator mists the gun's air motor.
Keeps steady actuation pressure for filler, capper and labeling cylinders, while the fitted check valve holds downstream pressure if the plant supply dips during a compressor changeover.
The 400 size with a 3/8 in PT port is the mid-large step in the G range; if your air demand approaches what a 300-size unit can pass, stepping up to 400 reduces pressure loss. Drain type is a real choice here: this unit uses a manual drain, which suits supervised installations where an operator bleeds the bowl on a routine; choose the automatic drain code if the point is unsupervised. The 5 um element (W) is the fine grade for sensitive downstream equipment; the standard grade is 40 um. The round MPa gauge is external and easy to read at the set point, and PT is the standard thread with G and NPT available as order options.
Because rated flow is published as curves rather than a single figure, we cannot honestly quote one number for this unit. Ask us to confirm sizing against the datasheet curves for your line pressure and demand before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream of the regulator. If any branch of the line must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator, or use a GR400-10 regulator with a GF400-10 filter on that branch.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GC400 series as characteristic curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number here. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request.
The 40 um grade is the standard element and handles general water and particulate removal. The 5 um (W) grade on this model is the finer option for sensitive downstream equipment such as precision valves, actuators and spray guns. Both grades are catalogue options across the GC series.
