The AirTAC AirTAC GFC400-10 Combination Unit (GFC40010AC1W) is a genuine G-series two-unit air-preparation set: a filter regulator that filters and regulates in one body, coupled to a lubricator. Two bodies do the work of three, with PT3/8" ports, a 5 µm element, a automatic drain and regulation over 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
The AirTAC GFC series pairs a filter regulator with a lubricator in a two-piece set covering filtration, pressure regulation and oil-mist lubrication. This GFC40010AC1W is the size 400 unit with 3/8 in PT ports, and the W in the code selects the finer 5 um filter element instead of the standard 40 um grade. It has an automatic drain on the filter bowl and an external round pressure gauge with MPa scale; the regulator adjusts outlet pressure across 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi). Compressed air only, from -5 to 70 C (non-freezing) at up to 1.0 MPa (145 psi) inlet, with polycarbonate bowls.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G series spans sizes 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, G (BSPP) and NPT thread variants, manual and differential drain options, gauge types and scales, and a check-valve option, so the set can be matched to the installation. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating; ask us to confirm the datasheet figures and sizing for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). The set has no separate bracket code — the two units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination set. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GFR400-10 filter regulator and GL400-10 lubricator.
A GFC is two units because filtering and regulating share one body. A GC is three separate units — filter, regulator and lubricator. Both filter, regulate and lubricate; the GFC is the shorter assembly, the GC keeps the filter and regulator serviceable as separate bodies.

Provides clean, regulated and lubricated air to pneumatic actuators on an analytical-instrument skid, where the 5 um element is chosen over the standard 40 um grade to protect fine pilot valves.
Point-of-use treatment for bench stations on an electronics assembly line: the finer 5 um element helps keep pneumatic feeder and press cylinders free of fine particulate, and the gauge verifies station pressure.
Feeds spray-gun and air-motor circuits in a finishing booth, with the 5 um element trimming particles ahead of the regulator and the automatic drain clearing condensate between shifts.
Size 400 with 3/8 in PT ports fits medium machine and cell supply lines. The W selects the finer 5 um element over the standard 40 um grade. Drain is the automatic type (A), with differential-pressure and manual (M) alternatives; the external round gauge reads in MPa, and square gauges or psi/bar scales can be ordered. Check-valve (K) and no-gauge (N) variants exist in the family, and PT is the standard thread with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options.
Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream, so if any branch must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator or use a GFR400-10 filter regulator on its own.
Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we do not quote one number here. Share your line pressure and air consumption and we will confirm the datasheet figures and sizing on request.
The W in the code selects the finer 5 um filter element; the standard GFC400 set uses 40 um. Choose 5 um where downstream valves and tools are sensitive to fine particulate. Drain, gauge and 3/8 in PT port configuration are otherwise the same as GFC40010AC1.
