The AirTAC AirTAC GFC400-10 Combination Unit (GFC40010MNW) is a genuine G-series two-unit air-preparation set: a filter regulator that filters and regulates in one body, coupled to a lubricator. Two bodies do the work of three, with PT3/8" ports, a 5 µm element, a manual drain and regulation over 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi).
The AirTAC GFC40010MNW is a two-unit air preparation set: a filter-regulator plus a lubricator, so downstream air is filtered, regulated and lubricated in one 400-size assembly. The W suffix selects the finer 5 um filter element instead of the standard 40 um grade. This configuration is sized for PT3/8 ports, has a manual drain on the filter bowl and no gauge. Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the working temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing), and the 400-size bowl is polycarbonate (PC).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G series is made in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes, with a choice of PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, drain types, filter grades and gauge options. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet and sizing for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). The set has no separate bracket code — the two units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |

| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination set. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GFR400-10 filter regulator and GL400-10 lubricator.
A GFC is two units because filtering and regulating share one body. A GC is three separate units — filter, regulator and lubricator. Both filter, regulate and lubricate; the GFC is the shorter assembly, the GC keeps the filter and regulator serviceable as separate bodies.

Conditions air for the valve manifold and pilot circuit of a machine control panel, where the 5 um element protects sensitive pilot valves from fine debris.
Prepares regulated, lubricated air for the bottle-gripper actuators on a bottling conveyor, with manual draining built into the line's changeover routine.
Feeds the pneumatic pipetting and plate-handling modules of a laboratory automation station, using the finer 5 um grade ahead of precision components.
Set the 400 size with its PT3/8 ports against the air demand of your line, stepping to 300 or 600 where the port or flow requirement differs. The drain on this model is manual, suiting lines bled down at scheduled stops; automatic and differential-pressure drain versions are available. The W suffix already selects the 5 um element for finer particulate protection - choose the standard 40 um grade (no W) where coarse filtration is enough. Threads can be ordered as PT (standard), G (BSPP) or NPT. Flow is published as curves and not a single rated number, so ask us to confirm sizing before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream, so if any branch must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator or use a GFR400-10 filter regulator on its own.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number here. Share your line's air demand and we will confirm the datasheet flow figures for the 400 size with PT3/8 ports on request.
The W suffix selects the 5 um element, which is the right choice upstream of fine pilot valves, precision cylinders and instrumentation. For general plant air feeding coarse tools, the standard 40 um grade (GFC40010MN) is sufficient and is the default on this family.
