The AirTAC AirTAC GFC400-15 Combination Unit (GFC40015AC2) is a genuine G-series two-unit air-preparation set: a filter regulator that filters and regulates in one body, coupled to a lubricator. Two bodies do the work of three, with PT1/2" ports, a 40 µm element, a automatic drain and regulation over 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
GFC40015AC2 is a two-unit G-series air preparation set from AirTAC: a filter-regulator paired with a lubricator, so compressed air is filtered, regulated and oil-mist lubricated in one assembly. This configuration uses size 400 with PT1/2 ports, an automatic drain on the filter bowl, the standard 40 um filter element and a round external gauge scaled in psi.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G-series comes in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with drain, filtration grade (40 um standard, 5 um with the W option), gauge style and scale, and PT, G or NPT threads as catalogue choices. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). The set has no separate bracket code — the two units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination set. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GFR400-15 filter regulator and GL400-15 lubricator.
A GFC is two units because filtering and regulating share one body. A GC is three separate units — filter, regulator and lubricator. Both filter, regulate and lubricate; the GFC is the shorter assembly, the GC keeps the filter and regulator serviceable as separate bodies.

Conditions the 1/2 in. supply feeding carton-erector and flap-fold cylinders, keeping glue heads and fold actuators supplied with clean, regulated, lubricated air through a full shift.
Prepares air for pneumatic nutrunners and impact drivers at an assembly cell, where the automatic drain protects tools from accumulated condensate between operator checks.
Feeds stop gates and pusher cylinders on a bottle conveyor run, with the lubricator extending seal life on the high-cycle gate actuators.
Step up or down through sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 to match the port and flow your line needs; 400 with PT1/2 suits mid-to-large pneumatic circuits. For the bowl, automatic drain suits unattended operation, manual drain suits supervised points, and the blank differential-pressure default is the baseline. Choose the 40 um standard element or the 5 um W option, and pick the round gauge in psi (2), bar (3) or the square embedded style.
PT is the standard thread here; G (BSPP) and NPT are orderable options. Because flow is published as curves rather than one rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream, so if any branch must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator or use a GFR400-15 filter regulator on its own.
AirTAC publishes flow for the G-series as characteristic curves, not a single rated number, so no rated figure is quoted here. Tell us your inlet pressure and required downstream demand and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet curves on request before you order.
The A in the code fits an automatic drain on the filter bowl, so condensate is expelled without manual intervention. Choose manual drain where a technician attends the unit regularly, or the differential-pressure default where periodic checks are acceptable.
