The AirTAC AirTAC GFC400-15 Combination Unit (GFC40015AF1K) is a genuine G-series two-unit air-preparation set: a filter regulator that filters and regulates in one body, coupled to a lubricator. Two bodies do the work of three, with PT1/2" ports, a 40 µm element, a automatic drain and regulation over 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
GFC40015AF1K is a two-unit G-series air preparation set from AirTAC: a filter-regulator plus a lubricator, so the supply is filtered, regulated and oil-mist lubricated in one assembly. This configuration is size 400 with PT1/2 ports, an automatic drain, the standard 40 um element, a square embedded gauge in MPa, and a reverse (check) valve fitted.
It is a genuine AirTAC part. The G-series is made in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration, gauge style and scale, thread option (PT standard, G or NPT) and the K check-valve option all decodable from the code. Flow is published as curves, so we confirm datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). The set has no separate bracket code — the two units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination set. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GFR400-15 filter regulator and GL400-15 lubricator.
A GFC is two units because filtering and regulating share one body. A GC is three separate units — filter, regulator and lubricator. Both filter, regulate and lubricate; the GFC is the shorter assembly, the GC keeps the filter and regulator serviceable as separate bodies.

Prepares the main air feed to a loom's pneumatic nozzles and shedding actuators, with the check valve holding the conditioned circuit stable if the header pressure dips.
Conditions air feeding impression and register cylinders on a fast print line, where the reverse valve stops downstream backflow from disturbing the set pressure between strokes.
Supplies filtered, regulated, lubricated air to damper and boom actuators in a finishing line, with the check valve shielding the prepared-air circuit from supply-side surges.
This is the same 400-size, PT1/2 two-unit set as the AF1, with the K option adding a reverse (check) valve - choose it where backflow through the unit must be prevented. Drain options remain automatic (fitted here), manual or differential-pressure, and filtration is the standard 40 um or the 5 um W grade. Gauge suffixes cover the square MPa style or round psi and bar gauges.
PT is the standard thread; G (BSPP) and NPT are orderable options. As flow appears only as characteristic curves, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream, so if any branch must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator or use a GFR400-15 filter regulator on its own.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as characteristic curves, not a single rated figure, so no rated flow number is quoted here. Give us your working pressure and downstream demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
K means a reverse (check) valve is fitted, so air cannot flow back through the unit toward the supply side. Drop the K when backflow protection is handled elsewhere in the circuit.
