The AirTAC AirTAC GFC400-15 Combination Unit (GFC40015ALC1) is a genuine G-series two-unit air-preparation set: a filter regulator that filters and regulates in one body, coupled to a lubricator. Two bodies do the work of three, with PT1/2" ports, a 40 µm element, a automatic drain and regulation over 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
GFC40015ALC1 is an AirTAC G-series two-unit air-treatment set: a GFR400 filter-regulator paired with a GL400 lubricator, covering filtration, pressure regulation and oil-mist lubrication in two pieces. This configuration is sized for 1/2 in. ports with PT thread, uses an automatic drain on the filter bowl, carries the standard 40 um filter element, and is the low-pressure (L) type. It comes with a round external gauge reading in MPa. Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the temperature range is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. At size 400 the bowls on both units are PC (polycarbonate).
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the GFC series. The same set is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with a choice of PT, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um (W) filtration, and round or square gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales. AirTAC publishes flow for these units as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm flow and full datasheet details for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. The set has no separate bracket code — the two units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination set. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GFR400-15 filter regulator and GL400-15 lubricator.
A GFC is two units because filtering and regulating share one body. A GC is three separate units — filter, regulator and lubricator. Both filter, regulate and lubricate; the GFC is the shorter assembly, the GC keeps the filter and regulator serviceable as separate bodies.

Feeding filtered, regulated and lubricated air to directional control valves on an automated packaging line from a 1/2 in. take-off point, keeping the low-pressure circuit conditioned before the manifold.
Conditioning supply air for the clamp and pusher actuators along a bottling conveyor, with oil mist carried downstream so cylinder seals run on lubricated air.
A treatment point at a machine shop assembly drop, filtering and regulating the shop main before it feeds air tools and clamping fixtures on the cell.
Size and port are the first decision: 400 with 1/2 in. PT suits mid-size plant air take-offs; step up to 600 (1 in.) or down to 300 or 200 if your line volume differs - match the step to required flow, which we confirm from the flow curves before you order. Drain choice: automatic empties the filter bowl without operator attention; manual gives deliberate control; the differential-pressure default triggers on pressure drop. Filter grade: 40 um is standard for general plant air, 5 um (W) where finer particulate protection matters. Gauge: this set carries a round gauge on the 1 (MPa) scale; square-gauge (F) variants and psi or bar scales are orderable. Thread: PT is standard; G and NPT are catalogue options.
As the low-pressure (L) type, the catalogue adjustment range quoted for the automatic-drain version is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi); we confirm the L-type adjustment limits against the datasheet on request before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream, so if any branch must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator or use a GFR400-15 filter regulator on its own.
AirTAC publishes flow for the GFC series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your operating pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request before you order.
C selects the round external gauge and 1 sets its scale to MPa. If you prefer the square gauge instead, or a psi (2) or bar (3) scale, the F2/F3 or C2/C3 variants of the same set are orderable - just ask us to confirm availability for your configuration.
