The AirTAC AirTAC GFC400-15 Combination Unit (GFC40015C3) is a genuine G-series two-unit air-preparation set: a filter regulator that filters and regulates in one body, coupled to a lubricator. Two bodies do the work of three, with PT1/2" ports, a 40 µm element, a differential-pressure drain and regulation over 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
The AirTAC GFC series is a two-unit air preparation set: a filter-regulator that removes water and particulate and holds downstream pressure, paired with a separate lubricator that meters oil mist into the air line. This GFC40015C3 is built on the 400 size with PT1/2 (PT) ports, the standard 40 um filter element, differential-pressure drain bowls and an external round pressure gauge on the bar scale. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), working temperature is -5 to 70 C non-freezing, and at the 400 size the filter-regulator and lubricator bowls are PC (polycarbonate).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFC family spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) filtration, square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and G (BSPP) or NPT thread options to order. Flow figures are published as curves rather than a single rating - ask us to confirm sizing and the datasheet for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). The set has no separate bracket code — the two units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination set. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GFR400-15 filter regulator and GL400-15 lubricator.
A GFC is two units because filtering and regulating share one body. A GC is three separate units — filter, regulator and lubricator. Both filter, regulate and lubricate; the GFC is the shorter assembly, the GC keeps the filter and regulator serviceable as separate bodies.

Preparing air for lab autoclave-adjacent handling and testing rigs that move specimens with pneumatic cylinders, with bar-scale readings matching European instrument panels.
Supplying pusher and gate cylinders on a dry-goods conveying line, where the 40 um element handles general plant air and the lubricator conditions the actuators.
A prepared-air drop for a maintenance workshop bench, feeding air tools and test fixtures from one regulated, lubricated, filtered point with a bar-readable gauge.
Size the unit by stepping across 200, 300, 400 and 600; the 400 size with PT1/2 ports fits larger machine supply headers. Drain options are differential-pressure (fitted here, 0.15-0.9 MPa / 20-130 psi setting range), automatic for unattended draining, or manual, which also widens the setting range to 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). Filtration is the 40 um standard element - take the W variant for 5 um when fine pilot circuits need it. The C3 code selects the external round gauge in bar; MPa and psi are the C1 and C2 alternatives. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options to order.
Flow is published as curves, not a single rating - ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream, so if any branch must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator or use a GFR400-15 filter regulator on its own.
There is no single rated flow figure to quote: AirTAC publishes G-series flow as performance curves. Share your line pressure, port size and downstream demand and we will confirm the right size against the curves and provide the datasheet on request.
Both deliver filter, regulation and lubrication. The GFC combines the filter and regulator in one body and adds a separate lubricator, saving panel space; the GC uses three separate bodies for filter, regulator and lubricator, giving more spacing and individual service access. Both are available in this 400 size with PT1/2 ports and bar-gauge options.
