The AirTAC AirTAC GFC400-15 Combination Unit (GFC40015MC1W) is a genuine G-series two-unit air-preparation set: a filter regulator that filters and regulates in one body, coupled to a lubricator. Two bodies do the work of three, with PT1/2" ports, a 5 µm element, a manual drain and regulation over 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi).
The AirTAC GFC40015MC1W is a two-unit compressed-air treatment set combining a filter regulator and a separate lubricator, so one group filters, regulates and oils the air supply. This 400-size unit is configured with a 1/2 in PT port, a manual drain on the bowl, the fine 5 um (W) filter element and an external round pressure gauge scaled in MPa. With the manual drain, the regulator adjustment range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
It is a genuine AirTAC part from the G series, which spans 200/300/400/600 sizes with options for port size, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, drain type, 40 um or 5 um filtration and gauge scale. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Because flow is published only as curves, we confirm the datasheet and sizing figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). The set has no separate bracket code — the two units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination set. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GFR400-15 filter regulator and GL400-15 lubricator.
A GFC is two units because filtering and regulating share one body. A GC is three separate units — filter, regulator and lubricator. Both filter, regulate and lubricate; the GFC is the shorter assembly, the GC keeps the filter and regulator serviceable as separate bodies.

Cleaner 5 um filtered, regulated and lubricated air for pneumatic test rigs and laboratory bench setups where fine particulate downstream of the regulator is not welcome.
Air preparation for spray guns and coating applicators, where the 5 um element and steady regulated pressure support a consistent finish at the booth.
Supply point for the air-operated guides, cutters and tensioners on a wire processing line, with the lubricator feeding the frequent-cycling actuators.
Stay at 400 size for a 1/2 in line; the W code is the decision point here - it buys the 5 um element instead of the standard 40 um, the right call for air tools, spray equipment and instrumentation that want cleaner air. If nobody will tend the bowl regularly, look at the automatic-drain variant instead of this manual one. Gauge C1 is the external round gauge in MPa; C3 and C2 give bar and psi scales. Thread is PT as standard with G and NPT options; a bracket is included. Flow figures exist only as published curves, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream, so if any branch must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator or use a GFR400-15 filter regulator on its own.
AirTAC does not publish a single rated flow figure for this set - flow data is given as characteristic curves that depend on pressure and orifice conditions. Contact us and we will confirm the datasheet flow curves for the 400 size against your line conditions before you order.
The W selects the 5 um filter element in place of the standard 40 um one, so the air leaving the filter-regulator half of the set carries finer particulate. Everything else in the decode stays the same: 1/2 in PT port, 400 size, manual drain and a round MPa gauge.
