The AirTAC AirTAC GFC400-15 Combination Unit (GFC40015MF2) is a genuine G-series two-unit air-preparation set: a filter regulator that filters and regulates in one body, coupled to a lubricator. Two bodies do the work of three, with PT1/2" ports, a 40 µm element, a manual drain and regulation over 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi).
GFC40015MF2 is a genuine AirTAC G-series two-unit set: a filter regulator and a lubricator supplied as two matched 1/2 in. units to form one compressed-air treatment station. The filter stage removes water and particulate to the standard 40 um grade, and the manual-drain bowl lets you dump collected condensate on demand. The regulator stage adjusts downstream pressure from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi, the manual-drain range) and carries the embedded square pressure gauge scaled in psi. The lubricator adds oil mist to the air feeding downstream tools and cylinders. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); working temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G series spans 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes, with PT (standard), G(BSPP) and NPT thread options, 40 um or 5 um filter grades, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales. In size 400 the polycarbonate bowls are used. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm datasheet and sizing figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). The set has no separate bracket code — the two units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination set. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GFR400-15 filter regulator and GL400-15 lubricator.
A GFC is two units because filtering and regulating share one body. A GC is three separate units — filter, regulator and lubricator. Both filter, regulate and lubricate; the GFC is the shorter assembly, the GC keeps the filter and regulator serviceable as separate bodies.

Feeding clean, regulated and lubricated air to the tool-changer and clamping circuits of a CNC machining centre, where chips-laden, wet shop air would otherwise foul the actuators.
Conditioning the air that drives carton-closing and case-taping cylinders on a packaging conveyor, keeping seals consistent and the pneumatic cylinders lubricated through long shifts.
Supplying the vacuum-generator and gripper cylinders of a palletising robot with filtered, pressure-controlled, lubricated air so grip force stays repeatable cycle after cycle.
Size 400 with 1/2 in. ports sits in the upper-middle of the G series; step to 300 or 600 according to the flow your line needs, and we will check the published flow curves against your demand before you order. This M code sets a manual drain - the blank default is differential-pressure, and A gives automatic draining. The filter grade here is the standard 40 um; add W to the code for a 5 um element where finer filtration is required. The gauge is the embedded square type with a psi scale; round external gauges and MPa or bar scales are catalogue alternatives. PT is the standard thread; order G(BSPP) or NPT where your pipework demands it, and specify the bracket option for mounting. Because flow is published as curves, not a single rating, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream, so if any branch must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator or use a GFR400-15 filter regulator on its own.
AirTAC publishes G-series performance as flow curves rather than one rated number, so no single flow figure is quoted here. Send us your working pressure and air demand and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
M sets a manual drain on the filter-regulator bowl (the blank default is differential-pressure, and A is automatic), while F2 specifies the embedded square gauge with a psi scale. Choices such as drain type, gauge style and scale, 40 um vs 5 um filtration and PT, G(BSPP) or NPT threads can be selected freely across the G series.
