The AirTAC AirTAC GFC400-15 Combination Unit (GFC40015MLC1W) is a genuine G-series two-unit air-preparation set: a filter regulator that filters and regulates in one body, coupled to a lubricator. Two bodies do the work of three, with PT1/2" ports, a 5 µm element, a manual drain and regulation over 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi).
GFC40015MLC1W is a genuine AirTAC G-series two-unit set: a filter regulator and a lubricator supplied as two matched 1/2 in. PT-threaded units. The W code fits the 5 um filter element instead of the standard 40 um grade, for finer removal of water carry-over and particulate, with a manual-drain bowl for emptying on demand. The regulator stage is the L low-pressure type for circuits set below the standard range - we confirm its exact adjustment window from the datasheet on request - and pressure is read on the external round gauge scaled in MPa. The lubricator meters oil mist downstream. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); working temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G series runs in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with PT (standard), G(BSPP) and NPT threads, a choice of 40 um or 5 um filtration, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and square embedded or round external gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales. Size 400 units use polycarbonate bowls. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we confirm datasheet and sizing figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. The set has no separate bracket code — the two units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination set. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GFR400-15 filter regulator and GL400-15 lubricator.
A GFC is two units because filtering and regulating share one body. A GC is three separate units — filter, regulator and lubricator. Both filter, regulate and lubricate; the GFC is the shorter assembly, the GC keeps the filter and regulator serviceable as separate bodies.

Supplying fine-filtered, low-pressure air to positioners and pilot valves on a chemical dosing skid, where 40 um particles would score the pilot seats.
Feeding the vacuum ejectors and Z-axis cylinders of SMT pick-and-place modules with 5 um-filtered, gently regulated air to protect nozzle seals and board quality.
Running air-jig flotation pads and low-pressure clamp circuits on a machining fixture table, where coarse dirt would block the small flotation orifices.
This is the fine-filtration build of the 400-size, 1/2 in. low-pressure set: W selects the 5 um element over the 40 um standard - useful ahead of sensitive valves and instruments, at the cost of a more frequent element check. The L code marks the low-pressure regulator; we confirm its adjustment range on request. The M code sets a manual drain (blank is differential-pressure, A is automatic), and the gauge is the external round type in MPa, with the embedded square gauge and psi or bar scales as alternatives. PT is the standard thread, with G(BSPP) and NPT available to order, and a bracket option for mounting. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream, so if any branch must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator or use a GFR400-15 filter regulator on its own.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so no one number is quoted here. Note also that a 5 um element holds back more dirt than the 40 um standard and should be checked more often. Send your pressure and demand figures and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet on request.
W selects the 5 um filter element in place of the 40 um standard grade. The rest of the code reads as before: L is the low-pressure regulator type, M is the manual drain (blank is differential-pressure, A is automatic), and C1 is the external round gauge in MPa. We confirm the low-pressure adjustment range on request.
