The AirTAC AirTAC GFC400-15 Combination Unit (GFC40015N) is a genuine G-series two-unit air-preparation set: a filter regulator that filters and regulates in one body, coupled to a lubricator. Two bodies do the work of three, with PT1/2" ports, a 40 µm element, a differential-pressure drain and regulation over 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
The GFC40015N is AirTAC's G-series two-unit air preparation set for 1/2 in PT threaded lines. It pairs a filter-regulator with a lubricator, so filtration, pressure regulation and oil-mist lubrication of compressed air are handled by one assembly. This configuration uses the standard 40 um filter element and a differential-pressure drain on the filter bowl, and the trailing N means no pressure gauge is fitted.
This is a genuine AirTAC part in the 400 size of the G series, which also spans 200, 300 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 to 1 in. Options across the series include automatic or manual drains, a 5 um element (W code), a check valve (K code), gauge variants, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads. We confirm flow and datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). The set has no separate bracket code — the two units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination set. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GFR400-15 filter regulator and GL400-15 lubricator.
A GFC is two units because filtering and regulating share one body. A GC is three separate units — filter, regulator and lubricator. Both filter, regulate and lubricate; the GFC is the shorter assembly, the GC keeps the filter and regulator serviceable as separate bodies.

Conditions the air feeding the tool-changer, clamp and chuck circuits of a CNC machining center: particulate and water removed, pressure held steady, and a fine oil mist carried to the actuating valves.
Prepares the supply for the cylinders and grippers on a carton-sealing conveyor line, where clean, regulated and lubricated air keeps flap-fold and taping heads moving all shift.
Feeds impact wrenches and nutrunners at a bench or overhead-rail assembly station, delivering filtered air at the set pressure with lubrication for the tool motors.
Move up or down a size (200, 300, 400, 600) to match the port and air demand of your line; the 400 size shown here carries the 1/2 in PT port. Choose the drain: differential-pressure (this model), automatic (A) for unattended condensate removal, or manual (M). The 40 um element suits general plant air; specify the W variant for 5 um filtration. Instead of the N no-gauge code you can order a gauge version with round or square gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, and threads are available as PT (standard), G (BSPP) or NPT. Flow for this series is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream, so if any branch must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator or use a GFR400-15 filter regulator on its own.
AirTAC publishes flow for the G series as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote a number here. Send us your line pressure and air demand and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request before you order.
The trailing N in the code means no gauge is fitted. Gauge variants of the GFC400 are available with round or square gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales; ask us to quote the gauge version if you want a visible pressure reading at the regulator.
