The AirTAC AirTAC GFC400-15 Combination Unit (GFC40015NK) is a genuine G-series two-unit air-preparation set: a filter regulator that filters and regulates in one body, coupled to a lubricator. Two bodies do the work of three, with PT1/2" ports, a 40 µm element, a differential-pressure drain and regulation over 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
The GFC40015NK is AirTAC's G-series two-unit air preparation set for 1/2 in PT threaded lines, combining a filter-regulator and a lubricator so one assembly filters, regulates and lubricates compressed air. The K code adds a reverse (check) valve, which holds downstream pressure if the upstream supply drops. This version uses the standard 40 um filter element, a differential-pressure drain, and carries no gauge (N code).
This is a genuine AirTAC part in the 400 size of the G series, which also spans 200, 300 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 to 1 in. Options include automatic or manual drains, a 5 um element (W code), gauge variants, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads. We confirm flow and datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). The set has no separate bracket code — the two units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination set. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GFR400-15 filter regulator and GL400-15 lubricator.
A GFC is two units because filtering and regulating share one body. A GC is three separate units — filter, regulator and lubricator. Both filter, regulate and lubricate; the GFC is the shorter assembly, the GC keeps the filter and regulator serviceable as separate bodies.

Supplies regulated, lubricated air to pneumatic clamp cylinders on a weld fixture, with the check valve helping hold the clamped position if the main supply dips mid-cycle.
Prepares air for the vacuum and clamp grippers of a palletizing cell, filtering plant air, holding a stable set pressure and feeding a light oil mist to the directional valves.
Conditions the branch feeding solenoid valves and air cylinders on a stamping press's secondary operations, keeping water and scale out of the valve stack.
Size the unit by stepping between 200, 300, 400 and 600 to match port and air demand; the 400 size carries the 1/2 in PT port shown here. Pick the drain type: differential-pressure (this model), automatic (A) or manual (M). The 40 um element covers general plant air; the W variant gives 5 um filtration. Keep the K code if you want the check valve to hold the regulated downstream pressure during supply dips, and choose a gauge variant in place of the N no-gauge code if you need a reading. Threads come as PT (standard), G (BSPP) or NPT. Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream, so if any branch must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator or use a GFR400-15 filter regulator on its own.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so no number is quoted here. Tell us your inlet pressure and required air consumption and we will confirm the flow from the datasheet on request.
The K code means a reverse (check) valve is fitted, so air flows out to the line but is held from flowing back if the upstream supply fails or dips. The base GFC40015N without the K does not include this valve.
