The AirTAC Airtac GFC Combination Unit GFC400C15MC1W is a genuine G-series two-unit air-preparation set: a filter regulator that filters and regulates in one body, coupled to a lubricator. Two bodies do the work of three, with See datasheet ports, a 40 µm element, a differential-pressure drain and regulation over 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi).
The AirTAC GFC series is a two-unit air preparation set: a filter regulator and a lubricator supplied together, covering filtration, pressure regulation and oil-mist lubrication in one order. This 400-size configuration is ported PT1/2 (PT thread as standard; G and NPT threads are catalogue options), uses the W option - a 5 um filter element for finer particulate removal than the 40 um standard - and has a manual drain on the bowl plus a round pressure gauge scaled in MPa. Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi), the regulator adjusts from 0.05 to 0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) with the manual-drain arrangement, and the operating temperature range is -5 to 70 C.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G series runs from size 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 in. to 1 in., 200/300/400 bowls in PC and 600 bowls in aluminium alloy, a choice of differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, and a check-valve (K) option. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm datasheet and sizing figures for your application.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). The set has no separate bracket code — the two units couple together with their own mounting hardware. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — there is no bracket position on a combination set. Constituent units, orderable separately as spares: GFR400-C1 filter regulator and GL400-C1 lubricator.
A GFC is two units because filtering and regulating share one body. A GC is three separate units — filter, regulator and lubricator. Both filter, regulate and lubricate; the GFC is the shorter assembly, the GC keeps the filter and regulator serviceable as separate bodies.

Point-of-use preparation for pneumatic valves and small actuators on laboratory automation skids, where the 5 um element gives finer particulate control.
Air for the valve island on a carton-forming packaging machine, with the 5 um element protecting spools and seals from finer particulate.
Runs pneumatic hold-down clamps on a woodworking router table, with 5 um filtration ahead of the clamp valves and tool feed.
Size 400 sits in the middle of the G-series step (200/300/400/600, ports 1/8 in. to 1 in.): pick the size whose flow curve covers your circuit demand, then match the port to your piping - PT1/2 here as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT threads orderable. This unit has a manual drain, so plan to drain the bowl at the valve; the differential-pressure drain (standard) and automatic drain (A) are alternatives on the same size.
The W suffix sets the 5 um element instead of the 40 um standard - choose it where valves, cylinders or instruments need finer protection. The round gauge is scaled in MPa, with psi and bar scales available. Because AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, ask us to confirm sizing against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowls must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe them with a dry cloth. The lubricator adds an oil mist downstream, so if any branch must stay oil-free, take that branch off before the lubricator or use a GFR400-C1 filter regulator on its own.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves, not as a single rated figure, so we do not quote one number here. Tell us your demand and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet on request before you order.
The 40 um standard element handles general water and particulate removal; the W suffix gives a 5 um element for finer protection of valve spools, cylinders and instruments. This model is the 5 um version; drop the W for the standard grade.
