The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-08 Filter Regulator (GFR30008AC1) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
GFR30008AC1 is a genuine AirTAC G-series filter regulator: filter and regulator in one body, in the 300 size with 1/4 in PT ports. The A code fits an automatic drain that discharges collected condensate from the polycarbonate bowl on its own, so the unit suits lines that run unattended; the C1 code adds an external round gauge with an MPa scale for a clear local pressure reading. It removes water and particulate down to 40 um (standard grade) and regulates downstream pressure anywhere in the 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range. Max inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); working temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. A mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR family runs from size 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and options include a 40 um standard or 5 um element, differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, embedded square or external round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, a reverse (check) valve, and G (BSPP) or NPT threads in place of the PT standard. AirTAC publishes flow for this series as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us and we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |

| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Point-of-use filter regulator on an assembly bench, with the automatic drain and MPa gauge keeping the supply clean and set without daily attention.
Regulated air to diverter and pusher cylinders on a distribution-center conveyor, where the automatic drain clears condensate between shifts.
Air preparation for the valve stack in a robotic welding cell, where unattended operation makes the self-draining bowl and local gauge practical.
The 300 size carries 1/4 in PT ports; if your line draws more air, step up to the 400 or 600 sizes with 1/2, 3/4 or 1 in ports rather than oversizing the regulator alone. The automatic drain (A) is the right pick for unattended cells and low-maintenance drops; differential-pressure and manual drains are available if you prefer. The 40 um element is the standard grade; choose W for 5 um fine filtration. Gauge here is the external round type on an MPa scale, with psi (2) and bar (3) scales and an embedded square gauge as alternatives. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options.
Flow is published as curves, not a single rating, so please ask us to confirm sizing from the datasheet against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
There is no single rated flow figure: AirTAC publishes G-series performance as curves, not a number. Tell us the flow and pressure your application needs and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet on request.
The A code fits an automatic drain that discharges collected condensate on its own, while the default differential-pressure drain relies on the pressure differential across the element. Both allow the full 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) regulation range; a manual-drain variant with a wider 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) range is also available in the series.
