The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-08 Filter Regulator (GFR30008ALF1W) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR series provides filtration and pressure regulation in one body: a drain bowl removes water and particulate and the regulator sets downstream pressure. This configuration is the 300 size with a PT1/4 port (PT is the standard thread), an automatic drain that clears condensate without operator attention, a 5 um element for finer filtration than the standard 40 um grade, and the low-pressure (L) regulator type. The embedded square pressure gauge with MPa scale is fitted and the mounting bracket is included. Bowl material on the 300 size is polycarbonate (PC); maximum working (inlet) pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G-series is offered in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, drain choices (differential-pressure, automatic, manual), 40 um or 5 um filtration, G(BSPP) and NPT thread alternatives, gauge options and bracket versions. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Conditioning the air feed to spray guns in a coating line, where the 5 um element helps keep water and particles out of the atomizing air path before the gun.
Feeding clean, low-pressure regulated air to dancer rollers, air pads and guide actuation on cable lines, with the automatic drain handling condensate around the clock.
Supplying stable low-pressure air to pneumatic test fixtures in an engineering lab, with the MPa square gauge giving technicians a clear reading of the set pressure.
Decodable choices in the G-series: size step (200/300/400/600) versus the port and flow your circuit needs; drain type (this unit: automatic; alternatives are the differential-pressure default and manual); element grade 40 um standard or 5 um (W) for finer air; gauge type and scale; PT standard thread versus orderable G(BSPP)/NPT; bracket included or deleted with J. This unit is the low-pressure (L) type; the standard-type GFR with automatic drain adjusts 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and we confirm the low-pressure adjustment span for your set point on request. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so ask us to confirm sizing against the application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
There is no single rated flow figure to quote: AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves rather than a rating. Tell us your pressure and duty and we will confirm the applicable flow data from the datasheet on request.
The standard G-series element grade is 40 um; adding W to the code specifies the finer 5 um element, suited where water carryover and finer particulate are a concern. Choose the grade in the code when ordering; both are available across the GF/GFR/GFC/GC families.
