The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-08 Filter Regulator (GFR30008C1K) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR series provides filtration and regulation in one body: the bowl removes water and particulate while the regulator sets downstream pressure. This GFR30008C1K is size 300 with a 1/4 in PT port, a 40 um standard element, the differential-pressure drain on a PC bowl, an external round gauge on a MPa scale, and a built-in reverse (check) valve that keeps downstream pressure from bleeding back if the supply side drops. Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR range covers sizes 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, PT (standard), G (BSPP) or NPT threads, three drain options, the 5 um element option (code W), and the reverse-valve option fitted here. Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, we confirm sizing and datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Regulates supply to air cylinder circuits where the position or force must be maintained, using the reverse valve to hold downstream pressure during upstream interruptions while the MPa gauge shows the set value.
Filters and regulates the pilot air feeding positioners and pilot stages of larger process valves, keeping supply clean with the 40 um element and holding pilot pressure steady via the check valve if the header dips.
Supplies regulated air to conveyor diverter gates, stoppers and lifters, where the reverse valve keeps diverted products held in position during a brief plant-air pressure drop and the gauge allows line-side pressure setting.
Choose the GFR200/300/400/600 size against your port and demand; we will verify the published flow curve for this 1/4 in unit against your application on request. Drain is the differential-pressure default here, with automatic (A) and manual (M) available; regulation range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) on this drain type. The 40 um element is standard and code W gives 5 um filtration. This code adds the reverse (check) valve (K) for circuits that must hold downstream pressure, plus the external round MPa gauge (C1); square-embedded and gauge-less versions exist. Thread is PT standard with G (BSPP) and NPT options, and a bracket is included unless code J is specified.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
There is no single rated flow figure to quote: AirTAC publishes G-series capacity as flow curves only. Share your line pressure, set pressure and air demand, and we will confirm the correct size against the datasheet curve on request before you order.
The K adds a reverse (check) valve inside the unit, so downstream pressure is held if the upstream supply fails or drops - useful for clamping and holding circuits. Everything else is identical: 1/4 in PT port, 40 um element, differential-pressure drain, and the round MPa gauge.
