The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-08 Filter Regulator (GFR30008LF1W) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a differential-pressure drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
GFR30008LF1W is a genuine AirTAC GFR-series filter regulator: filtration and pressure regulation combined in a single body, with no lubricator. This 300-size configuration takes compressed air through a 1/4 in PT port, captures finer particles with the 5 um (W) element, and sets downstream pressure with the low-pressure (L) regulator type. The polycarbonate bowl has a differential-pressure drain, and the embedded square pressure gauge reads in MPa. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); with the differential-pressure drain the adjusting range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi), and because this is the low-pressure type we recommend confirming the exact setting limit for your application. Operating temperature is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
AirTAC builds the G-series in sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, plus options for automatic or manual drains, the 40 um standard element, square or round gauges in MPa, psi or bar scales, G (BSPP) or NPT threads, and bracket choice. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm sizing and the full datasheet for this model on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. The low-pressure type adjusts over a lower band than standard; we confirm the exact figures from the factory datasheet. Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| (blank) | Drain: Differential-pressure drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| L | Low-pressure type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Regulated air feeds the swing clamps on a machining fixture, where the 5 um element helps keep fine particles out of the clamp-seal and check-valve passages during long production runs.
Clean, regulated air drives the cylinders on an automated sampling station, with the low-pressure type matching the modest setting the sampler valves were specified for.
Mounted ahead of a solenoid valve manifold on an automation panel, so the manifold pilots see filtered air and the panel builder has one point to set and read working pressure.
Size and port set the envelope: this is size 300 with a 1/4 in PT port; step to size 200 for lighter drops or to sizes 400 and 600 for heavier air demand. Drain choice: the fitted differential-pressure drain discharges as the element loads, automatic (A) empties without intervention, and manual (M) suits attended machines. This unit's 5 um W element is the right pick when finer particles must be kept out of downstream components; the 40 um standard element remains the choice for general plant air. Gauge scale, PT vs G/NPT thread and bracket finish the selections.
Because AirTAC publishes flow as curves rather than one rated number, tell us your inlet pressure, set pressure and air demand and we will confirm the correct size against the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes flow for this series as performance curves rather than a single rated figure, so no single number applies across all pressures and settings. Give us your inlet pressure, set pressure and air demand, and we will read the curve against the datasheet and confirm sizing on request.
The F suffix codes the embedded square pressure gauge reading in MPa, which is the standard presentation on G-series regulators. AirTAC also offers an external round gauge, and gauge scales in MPa (1), psi (2) or bar (3) are selectable when ordering. If you need a different scale or gauge style, ask us to quote the matching variant.
