The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-08 Filter Regulator (GFR30008MF1K) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR30008MF1K is a G-series filter regulator fitted with a reverse (check) valve (K option): it filters water and particulate from compressed air, regulates downstream pressure, and helps hold the downstream circuit against backflow through the unit. This configuration is the 300 size with a PT1/4 (Rc 1/4) port, the standard 40 um element, a manual drain bowl, and an embedded square gauge on an MPa scale. The polycarbonate bowl suits the 300 frame; a mounting bracket is included.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G-series runs from size 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, and drain, element, gauge, check-valve and thread options, so you can standardise on one family. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated figure - ask us and we will confirm datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Conditions and regulates air at the head of a multi-station manifold, with the check valve helping hold the set pressure across the stations when upstream supply fluctuates.
Feeds torque tools and air-over-oil press circuits that need pressure held steady through the stroke, protected by 40 um filtration and monitored on the embedded MPa gauge.
A bench-mounted 1/4 inch conditioning point in commercial-vehicle service bays, where the manual-drain bowl is emptied between jobs and the check valve guards the set circuit.
Choose the K version when the downstream circuit should hold its set pressure if supply dips - the check valve blocks reverse flow back through the regulator. Otherwise the choice logic matches the plain model: 300 size and 1/4 inch PT port for compact circuits, manual drain where an operator bleeds the bowl on routine rounds, standard 40 um element for general plant air (W gives 5 um).
Gauge is the embedded square type on an MPa scale; round gauges and other scales are catalogue options. Thread is PT (Rc) as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT orderable. As flow appears only as curves, not one rating, ask us to confirm the datasheet curve against your application before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
We do not quote a single rated flow because AirTAC publishes this series as curves rather than one figure. Give us your inlet pressure and required flow and we will confirm the datasheet curve data for this 300 size on request.
K means a reverse (check) valve is fitted, so air cannot flow backwards through the unit - useful where a downstream circuit must hold its set pressure if the supply side drops. The rest of the code reads the same as the plain model: M manual drain, F square gauge, 1 MPa scale, standard 40 um element, with a 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) regulation range on this manual-drain version.
