The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-08 Filter Regulator (GFR30008MJC1) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300-08MJC1 is an AirTAC G-series filter regulator, filtering water and particulate and regulating downstream pressure in one 300-size unit. This configuration uses a PT1/4 port, a manual drain bowl, the standard 40 um element, and an external round gauge with MPa scale; the J code means it ships without a mounting bracket, so plan for panel or manifold fixing at installation. With manual drain, the regulator adjusts across 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi).
This is a genuine AirTAC part. Across the GFR series you can choose sizes 200 to 600, G or NPT threads, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a finer 5 um element, different gauge scales and bracket variants. Flow is published only as curves, so we confirm datasheet figures for your duty on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Bolted inside a machine electrical cabinet wall, it regulates and filters the air feeding solenoid valves across a textile machine, with the round MPa gauge read through a panel cutout.
On a drilling fixture with air clamps, it holds a fixed clamping pressure shift after shift and removes line water that would otherwise corrode the clamp cylinders.
Feeding bench-top pneumatic apparatus in a test lab, the 40 um element and stable regulated pressure give clean, repeatable air for day-to-day experiments.
If your panel already provides fixing, the no-bracket J version saves a step; otherwise pick a bracket variant in the same series. The round external gauge sits where it is easiest to read, with MPa on this code and psi or bar scales also available. Manual drain fits attended installations; automatic or differential-pressure drain covers inaccessible spots.
Size 300 at 1/4 in is a common machine-level port; confirm against your true demand. Since flow is published as curves, not a single rating, ask us to verify sizing from the datasheet before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
There is no single rated flow number for this unit: AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves only. We will pull the datasheet and confirm the flow behaviour at your operating pressure on request, so you can size with real data.
J means this version comes without a mounting bracket, so it is intended for panel, manifold or existing-plate mounting. If you need a wall or frame bracket, choose a GFR300-08 code without the J and the bracket is included.
