The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-08 Filter Regulator (GFR30008MJC1K) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR300-08MJC1K is an AirTAC G-series filter regulator with a reverse/check valve fitted. It filters water and particulate and regulates pressure in one 300-size body, with a PT1/4 port, manual drain bowl, standard 40 um element and an external round gauge on MPa scale; the J code means no mounting bracket is included. Manual drain puts the regulator adjustment at 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi), and the check valve holds the downstream circuit against upstream pressure loss.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The GFR series offers sizes 200 to 600, G or NPT thread options, automatic or differential-pressure drains, a 5 um element grade, gauge scale choices and bracket variants. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm datasheet and flow figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |

| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a machining fixture with pneumatic clamps, the check valve keeps the clamps engaged if shop air pressure falls, while the regulator holds the set clamping force.
Supplying diverter gates on a parcel sorting conveyor, it delivers clean regulated air and backs the downstream side with the check valve against momentary supply dips.
On a small bench pneumatic press, it filters and regulates the ram circuit supply, with the MPa gauge letting setters verify working pressure at a glance.
Choose this K version when your circuit must keep downstream pressure if the supply drops, for example on clamping or holding functions; without the K code the same unit ships with no check valve. Manual drain suits attended lines, while automatic or differential-pressure drain covers unattended positions, and the 40 um element is the standard protection grade.
The 300 size at 1/4 in PT fits typical machine supply drops; larger sizes carry more flow. Because flow is published only as curves, ask us to confirm sizing against your application from the datasheet before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC states flow for this series as curves, not as one rated figure, so we do not quote a single number. Share your pressure and consumption requirements and we will confirm the sizing from the datasheet on request.
K means a reverse/check valve is fitted in the unit, so downstream pressure is held if upstream supply fails. The otherwise equivalent GFR300-08MJC1 without K has no check function, which is the key choice between the two codes.
