The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-08 Filter Regulator (GFR30008MJC1WK) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The GFR30008MJC1WK is an AirTAC GFR300-series filter regulator for compressed air, combining filtration and pressure regulation in a single body. This configuration is size 300 with a PT1/4 (Rc) port, a manual drain polycarbonate bowl, a 5 um fine filter element, a fitted reverse (check) valve and an external round gauge scaled in MPa. Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and the temperature range is -5 to 70 C (non-freezing).
This is a genuine AirTAC part from the G-series air-treatment range, which covers sizes 200 to 600 with ports from 1/8 in to 1 in, and drain, filter-grade, gauge and thread options (PT standard; G/BSPP and NPT available to order). Flow for this series is published as curves, not as a single rated figure, so ask us to confirm the datasheet and sizing on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

On a robotic pick-and-place cell, the filter regulator conditions the air to 5 um, and the check valve helps the downstream side keep its regulated setting when the plant air is shut off between cycles.
On cable extrusion or spooling lines with intermittently switched air sections, this unit filters and regulates the supply to pneumatic guides and clamps while the reverse valve prevents backflow between sections.
On a workshop air drop shared between tools, the 5 um element and stable regulated output suit precision hand and assembly tools, and the manual drain allows a quick bleed-down at the end of each shift.
Size 300 with a 1/4 in port is the mid-size step of the G-series; move to 400 or 600 if your flow demand is higher. The manual drain suits a visible, reachable installation; choose the automatic or differential-pressure drain code when the unit is hard to access. The 5 um element gives finer filtration than the standard 40 um grade, and the K in this code adds a reverse/check valve so the regulator holds its setting when upstream air is removed. The external round gauge reads MPa; square embedded gauges and other scales are available.
Thread is PT as standard with G (BSPP) and NPT as catalogue options, and no mounting bracket is included (J). Because flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, contact us to confirm sizing against your circuit before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
There is no single rated flow figure for this series: AirTAC publishes performance as flow curves. Tell us your inlet pressure, set pressure and expected consumption, and we will confirm the flow data from the datasheet on request so you can size the 1/4 in port correctly.
K means a reverse (check) valve is fitted. It blocks flow back through the unit when upstream pressure is lost, helping the regulated downstream circuit hold its setting. If you do not need this function, order the same configuration without the K.
