The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-08 Filter Regulator (GFR30008MJF1WK) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR30008MJF1WK combines filtration and pressure regulation in one body, with the finer 5 um filter element (W grade) and a built-in reverse (check) valve (K) that blocks backflow and helps hold the set pressure if the upstream supply fails. It is size 300 with a PT1/4 port, a manual drain bowl and an embedded square pressure gauge scaled in MPa. Manual drain gives the full 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) adjustment range.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G series filter regulator range spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600, with your choice of drain type, 40 um or 5 um element, gauge scale, bracket and G/NPT thread. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rated number, so we will confirm datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| K | Reverse-flow (reflux) valve fitted. |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Filtering and regulating air to the pick-and-place and sealing cylinders on a packaging line, with the check valve keeping clamp pressure stable through brief supply dips.
A point-of-use filter regulator feeding screwdrivers, riveters and small actuators in an assembly cell, with the 5 um element guarding tool internals.
Supplying cleaner regulated air to air nozzles, jets and light blow-off stations where particulate in the line would block fine orifices.
Choose this code when you need both fine filtration and supply backflow protection in one unit: the 5 um element suits cleaner-air duties and the K check valve suits circuits where losing the set pressure would interrupt the process. Size 300 / 1/4 inch PT fits standard machine supply drops; step to 400 or 600 for larger demand. Manual drain means someone bleeds the bowl during maintenance; automatic and differential-drain variants exist for unattended installs, with a 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) range. No bracket is included (J). PT is the standard thread; G (BSPP) and NPT are orderable options.
Flow appears only as datasheet curves, not a single rating - give us your flow and pressure points and we will confirm the right size before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. The reflux valve permits reverse flow through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
There is no single rated flow figure to quote: AirTAC publishes G-series flow as curves. Send us your line pressure and required flow and we will confirm the datasheet curve and pressure drop for this 300-size, 1/4-inch unit on request.
The K check valve stops air flowing back through the unit and helps hold the regulated setting if upstream pressure is lost - useful on clamping or holding circuits. The M manual drain gives the widest 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi) adjustment range but needs the bowl bled by hand during maintenance; automatic-drain versions are available if you want that done without operator input.
