The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-08 Filter Regulator (GFR30008MJN) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 40 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/4" ports, a manual drain and regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
GFR30008MJN is an AirTAC G-series filter regulator: a 300-size unit that removes water and particulate from compressed air and holds downstream pressure in one body. This configuration has 1/4 inch PT ports, a manual-drain bowl (M), no mounting bracket (J), the standard 40 um element, and no gauge (N) - set pressure on the adjusting knob and monitor it on your own downstream gauge. Maximum inlet pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi); with manual drain the setpoint range is 0.05-0.9 MPa (7-130 psi). The 300-size bowl is PC (polycarbonate), rated -5 to 70 C, non-freezing.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G-series filter regulator comes in 200, 300, 400 and 600 sizes with ports from 1/8 to 1 inch, drain options of differential-pressure, automatic or manual, 40 um standard or 5 um (W) elements, and gauge or no-gauge builds. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm sizing and full datasheet figures on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.
| GFR300 | G-series filter regulator, 300 body — sets the port range. |
|---|---|
| 08 | Port size PT1/4". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| M | Drain: Manual drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.05 - 0.9 MPa (7 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| N | No pressure gauge (N). |
| (blank) | Gauge shape: Factory standard. C is round, F is square. |
| (blank) | Gauge scale: Factory standard. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| (blank) | Filtering grade 40 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeding hand-tool drops along a maintenance shop wall, with the regulator set once for a stable tool supply and the bowl drained during end-of-day checks.
Conditioning a 1/4 inch branch off the main plant ring main before it splits to a bank of small actuators, keeping line water out of the branch.
A compact filter-regulator block for OEM skids and test rigs, where the panel already carries its own pressure gauge so the N (no-gauge) build keeps the footprint small.
The 300 size with 1/4 inch ports is the mid-range step in the G series; if your line draws more air, step up to the 400 size and compare the published flow curves. The standard 40 um element is the general-purpose choice for cylinders and actuators; choose the 5 um (W) variant when instruments are downstream. Manual drain (M) is right where a person is on site to drain the bowl; automatic or differential-pressure drains suit unattended runs. Gauge scale (MPa, psi or bar) and the embedded square gauge itself are options you can add at order time. PT is the standard thread; G (BSPP) and NPT are catalogue options. The J code omits the bracket, which remains available. Ask us to confirm sizing against your application before you order.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes filter-regulator flow as curves rather than a single rated figure, so we do not state a number here. Tell us your pressure and flow demand and we will confirm sizing from the datasheet on request.
The N code means no gauge is fitted; you set pressure with the adjusting knob and read it on your own downstream gauge. The M code means the bowl is drained by hand at intervals - simple and reliable where an operator is present - while automatic and differential-pressure drain versions are available for unattended installations.
