The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-10 Filter Regulator (GFR30010AJC1W) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT3/8" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR series filters and regulates compressed air in a single body: a drain bowl removes water and particulate, then an integral regulator holds downstream pressure at the setpoint. This GFR300-10A is the 300 size with a 3/8 in PT port, automatic drain (condensate ejects itself at a set level, no manual blowing down), the finer 5 um (W) element instead of the standard 40 um, and an external round gauge scaled in MPa. The J suffix means no mounting bracket is supplied.
This is a genuine AirTAC part for compressed air only. The G series spans size 200 to 600 (ports 1/8 in to 1 in) with differential-pressure, automatic or manual drains, 40 um or 5 um elements, and gauge or no-gauge versions. Working pressure is up to 1.0 MPa (145 psi); with automatic drain the regulator setting range is 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi); temperature range is -5 to 70 C. The 300 bowl is polycarbonate (PC). Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we will confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 10 | Port size PT3/8". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| J | Supplied without bracket. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| C | Gauge shape: Round. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Prepares air for the spray guns and air-assisted applicators on a paint or coatings line, where the 5 um element protects nozzles and air caps from finer particles than a standard element catches.
Feeds the air-operated transmitters and pilot valves on a process skid, holding a stable regulated supply with water and fine particulate removed upstream of the instruments.
Supplies the dispensing valves on an adhesive or sealant bench, where 5 um filtration helps keep valve seats and needle points working between services.
Size by port and demand: 300 at 3/8 in PT is the mid step between 1/4 in (200/08) and 1/2 in (400/15). Element: this unit carries the 5 um (W) grade; choose the standard 40 um when only bulk water and coarse particles need removal. Drain: automatic is the fit-for-unattended-stations choice, with manual and differential-pressure drains available in the same size. Gauge: external round gauge in MPa (scale 1) here; embedded square gauges and psi/bar scales are the alternatives. Thread is PT as standard, with G (BSPP) and NPT (T) orderable versions; the J code omits the bracket. Because G-series flow appears only as curves, ask us to check your demand against the datasheet before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as performance curves, not as a single rated number, so we do not quote one figure. Send us your supply pressure and the duty of the downstream equipment and we will confirm the sizing against the datasheet on request.
The standard 40 um element is the usual choice for general cylinders and air tools. The 5 um W grade is the option when finer particles are the concern, such as spray equipment, instrumentation or dispensing valves. The same GFR300-10A body is available in both grades.
