The AirTAC AirTAC GFR300-15 Filter Regulator (GFR30015AF1W) is a genuine G-series filter regulator: water separation, 5 µm particulate filtration and balanced-type pressure regulation combined in a single body. It has PT1/2" ports, a automatic drain and regulates 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). It does not lubricate — add a GL lubricator, or order the GFC two-unit set, if downstream equipment needs oil.
The AirTAC GFR300 series combines air filtration and pressure regulation in a single body. This configuration is the size 300 unit with a PT1/2 port, an automatic float drain that ejects collected condensate without manual attention, a fine 5 um filter element, and an embedded square pressure gauge scaled in MPa. Use it where a clean, precisely set supply line feeds downstream valves and cylinders.
This is a genuine AirTAC part. The G-series spans sizes 200, 300, 400 and 600 with 5 um (code W) or standard 40 um elements, automatic, manual or differential-pressure drains, and PT, G or NPT threads. Maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (145 psi) and operating temperature is -5 to 70 C, non-freezing. Flow is published as curves rather than a single rating, so we confirm the datasheet figures for your application on request.

Specifications follow the official AirTAC G-series air-preparation data. The regulating band is set by the drain type: automatic and differential-pressure drains regulate 0.15 - 0.9 MPa, a manual drain regulates 0.05 - 0.9 MPa. Standard type, regulating 0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi). Air must not freeze in the unit. Flow curves, weight and outline dimensions are not published in our data set — ask us and we will confirm from the factory datasheet.

|---|---|
| 15 | Port size PT1/2". This body offers 08 = PT1/4", 10 = PT3/8", 15 = PT1/2". |
| A | Drain: Automatic drain — this also sets the regulating band (0.15 - 0.9 MPa (20 - 130 psi)). |
| (blank) | Standard type. Blank is standard, L is the low-pressure type. |
| (blank) | Mounting bracket included. |
| (blank) | Pressure gauge fitted (blank). |
| F | Gauge shape: Square. C is round, F is square. |
| 1 | Gauge scale: MPa. 1 is MPa, 2 is psi, 3 is bar. |
| W | Filtering grade 5 µm. Only 40 µm (blank) and 5 µm (W) exist. |
| (blank) | PT thread. PT is the default; G is BSPP and T is NPT. |
| (blank) | No reverse-flow valve (the default). |
Field order is size, port, drain, type, bracket, gauge, shape, scale, grade, thread, reflux — a blank position takes the default. Example: GFR300-08 is a 300 body, PT1/4", differential drain, standard type, bracket included, gauge fitted, 40 µm, PT thread, no reflux valve.
A larger body carries a larger port and holds set pressure better as flow rises. AirTAC publishes flow only as curves, so size the body from your peak demand with headroom. The GFR600 uses an aluminium-alloy bowl; the 200, 300 and 400 bodies use PC.

Feeds the clamp and hold-down cylinders of a metal stamping cell. The 5 um element protects directional valves from condensate carryover while the regulator holds a steady clamping pressure, and the automatic drain keeps the bowl clear during multi-shift running.
Supplies the vacuum generators and flap-fold cylinders on a secondary packaging line. The square MPa gauge lets maintenance set and verify line pressure at a glance, and the automatic drain handles condensate from a long distribution run.
Conditions the air feeding tool-change actuators and air-powered fixtures on a CNC cell. The fine 5 um grade guards precision actuators, and the regulator's 0.15-0.9 MPa (20-130 psi) adjustment range covers typical actuator setting pressures.
The size 300 with a 1/2 inch port suits mid-size air lines; step up to size 400/600 or down to 200 depending on the flow your line needs. This version already carries the automatic drain and 5 um element; if coarse protection is enough, the 40 um standard element is the default choice. The square gauge here reads in MPa; the same body can be ordered with a bar or psi scale or an external round gauge. Thread: PT is the standard; G (BSPP) and NPT are catalogue options. A J-suffix orders the unit without its bracket, and a K suffix adds a reverse/check valve.
Because AirTAC publishes flow as performance curves and not one rated figure, ask us to confirm sizing against your flow demand before ordering.
Quick checklist
The PC bowl must not be cleaned with solvents — wipe it with a dry cloth. Without the K option, air cannot flow back through the unit. A filter regulator adds no oil to the line.
AirTAC publishes G-series flow as performance curves, not as a single rated number, so no rated figure is quoted here. Send us your application's flow demand and inlet pressure and we will confirm the curve data from the datasheet on request before you order.
The A in the code is the automatic float drain, which discharges condensate without operator attention; manual (M) and differential-pressure (blank) drains are available instead. The W gives the fine 5 um element; omitting W orders the standard 40 um grade. Gauge scale and PT/G/NPT thread are also order choices.
